Starting the 2010-11 Season

2010-11 Wrestling season has started with a bang. Easton travelled to Parkland and dropped a 41-21 win on them to open the season. The preseason consensus was that Easton was the team to beat this year, and they gave us no reason to doubt that in their opening match agaisnt the team many thought was to be their biggest challenger this year. Easton answered with 4 pins, 2 majors and 2 decisions against 2 falls and 4 decisions for Parkland. Concerns over Easton's football returnees was justified as they are not yet in wrestling shape, but that only makes us wonder how much stronger they can get by February. Nazareth also returns a strong contingent this year and Northampton is in a reloading year and can never be counted out.

This reporter wishes to thank the many readers of this website and the forum for their good wishes over the past year. I am back, I am healthy again, and I am ready for some wrestling, how about you?
