Prematch comments: Upper Perkiomen Gym, as loud as a gym gets! A new rivalry has emerged, and here in it's third year, the Upper Perk Indians are looking to gain some of the respect that has long belonged to the storied Easton Wrestling program by taking it right to them. Upper Perk has filled out their schedule with quality opponents, knowing that you have to beat the best, to be the best.. After falling to the Red Rovers 3 times in the past 2 years, Upper Perk is finding themselves to be the favored opponent tonight. The young and building Easton Red Rovers however, are not ready to roll over and play dead. Coming to Upper Perk's gym having won the inaugural Council Rock Duals, and a surprisingly strong 2nd place finish in the Reno Tournament of Champions, the Easton squad is looking to make some noise of their own. Easton wins the toss and takes odds. Match Start 7:45 pm

171lbs Sr. Brent Fiorito (UP 16-3) vs. Jr. Jules Knighten (E 9-3) 1st period Fiorito comes out first, Easton sends out Knighten. Fiorito comes out hot and hard...takes knighton down at the edge and they go out. On restart Fiorito tries to turn Knighten, but can't and they go out. Restart and Knighten fighting to maintain his base as Fiorito crawls all over him and they go out. Firoito cuts him on restart and goes in for a single and takes Knighten down to end the period. 2nd period Firoito gets choice, defers and Knighton takes down. Firoito can't turn him and they roll out. On restart he cuts Knighton then takes him down, rolls him and pins with a cross body Fiorito fall 2:59 Upper Perk 6-0

189lbs Sr. Dustin Pyle (UP 3-7) vs. So. Cory Rutt (E 11-3) 1st period Pyle and Rutt exchange Upper body holds, Pyle gets Ruuts leg high but can't do anything with it as they roll out. Not much action, wretlers locked. Pyle gets banged with a stall for backing up just as the period ends, 2nd period Rutt defers choice and Pyle takes down. Rutt rides hard and they go out...on restart Rutt choosed optional start but doesn't let Pyle up. Pylre gets a leg and pulls Rutt out of bounds. Pyle takes Injury time. On restart they fight for hand control but Rutt won't lret Pyle up, he almost turns Pyle to his back but he rolls thru. Pyle lifeless on bottom, no stall call as time runs out. Rutt 2-0 3rd period Rutt starts downand escapes immediately. Pyle shoots a leg but Rutt splays out and they go out. On restart they fight for hand control and Pyle pulls Rutt out. Restart and the same thing as they fight for hand control. Pyle tries the leg again amd RUttt reaches over for a back leg and gets the cradle....Pyle tries to squeeze out as time runs out. 215lbs Sr. Derek Bennett (UP 8-5) vs. Jr. Nick Williams (E 0-1) 1st period Bennet takes McWillaims down, rolls him to his back and is then reversed, and reverses back again.... Bennet Fall 1:02 Upper Perk 12-3

275lbs Jr. Bruce Augustine (UP 8-6) vs. Fr. Chris Wilson (E 7-4) 1st period Auguatiine with quick takedown to a near fall Wilson reverses and they go out. On restart Augustine escapes and takes Wilson down with a bear hug. Augustine 8-2 2nd period Augustine takes down and escapes. Takes wilson to his back and pins in 2:22 Upper Perk 18-3

103lbs Fr. Mike McStravick (UP 4-3) vs. So. Jordon Oliver (E 13-0) 1st period Oliver quick takes down, rolls kid for 3 near fall. then pins in 1:03 Upper Perk 18-9

112lbs Jr. Shane Smith (UP 9-4) vs. 112 - So. Kegan Handlovic (E 8-3) 1st period Smith with quick takedown, handlovic almost escapes and they go out,,, on restart again handlovic tries to get out but smith turns him and pins in 0:58 Upper Perk 24-9

119lbs Jr. Chris Sheetz (UP 9-5) vs. Jr. Brandon Veres (E 11-2) ______ referee 1st period Wrestlers feeling each other out, head slaps and Sheetz reaches in with a headlock and takes Veres right down for 3 backs. Veres escapes and they go out. More pushing and head slaps and the perios ends. Sheetz 5-1 Veres takesinjury time. 2nd period Veres starts down and escapes. Shetz with takedown and Veres escapes again. another Sheetz takesdown and he trise to power half Veres but no luck. Sheetz 9-3 3rd period Start Netral and Sheetz tries takedown but can't control a tough Veres. They lock up and Sheetz tries an arm over and thorws a leg in but Veres steps over. Sheetz finally gets above and behind Veres for the takedown and they go out. On restart Veres stands but sheetz pulls him back down. Sheetz major descion 11-3 Upper Perk 28-9

125lbs Fr. Ryan Kemmerer (UP 12-5) vs. Sr. Russ Souders (E 11-2) 1st period Kemmerer comes out aggressive right at Souders but is easily handled. he tries to get behibnd souders but can't complet. Then he gets a leg but Souders turns into a takedown of his own and they go out. On restart Souders stretches him out and starts the physical top work he does so well. He locks legs around Kemmerer and the period ends Souders 2-0 2nd period Souders defers and Kemmerer takes neutral. He takes Souders down and immediatly lets him up. Kemmerer very aggressive. Souders gets poked in eye but only neeeds a few seconds. Souders grabs an arm and tries to get the leg but Kemmerer spins around and almost takes Souders down, but Souders counters and spins and gets the takedown himself. Ref stops Souders grabbing shoulder of Kemmerer. On restart Souders stretches him out again and time runs out. Souders 5-2 3rd period Souders turns Kemmerer from the top with a Ciaculi shoulder bar and gets 3 backs and souders turns it into a pin at 5:34 Upper Perk 28-15

130lbs Sr. Austin Reed (UP 12-4) vs. Jr. JuJu Drummond (E 7-3) 1st period Wrestler feel each other out, then Reed shoots a single and has to work hard to fianlly get teh take down as they roll out. JuJu escapes and nearly takes Reed down at the edge but Reed gets out. On restart Reed gets another single and takes Juju down. Reed 4-1 2nd period Reed takes bottom, Juju tried the Rogers roll again and again, cen't hold Reed in it. Juju rides hard and tight, Reed tried to stand but is broken down then he finally does get uo and the crowd calls for the stall but Reed des not escape and almost reverses but Juju finally gets the lateral drop and exposes Reed for 3 backs. They go out and on restart Juj gives up a leg and Reed cannot convert it. Tied at 4-4 3rd period They start neutral and Reed shoots Juju splays and grabs Reeds waist and locks in his crotch. Ref calls stalemate. Restart and they lock up and go out. Restart and Reed drops for a shot but Juju pushes him off and turns him around gets on top of Reeed but Reed still has a leg, they tussle about, Juju on top can't get hhis leg out and Ref calls stalemate. Restart neutral and time runs out. Tied 4-4 Overtime Neutral....they lock...Reed gets a leg and Juju won't let him have the takedownm....they roll all over and Ref won;t give points to either wreestler...time expires tied 4-4. Reed takes injury time. 2nd Overtime Reed choice, takes top.....Juju is ip and Reed gets a leg...Juju tried to reverse....Ref calls stalemate. restart Juju up and Reed will not let go of that leg....time expires. 135lbs Jr. Zack Kemmerer (UP 15-0) vs. Sr. Mike Biase (E 10-2) 1st period Kemmerer coms out right after Biase, they go out...on restart caution on Kemmerer. They go out again...Kemmerer the aggressor. they go out. biase shoots and is faught off. Kemmerer pushes him out of bounds...Kemmerer shoots at the edge for takesdown and they go out. Biase almost escapes and they go out and restart Kemmerer cautioned again, this time he does escape. Kemmerer shoots and gets both legs but Biase grabs one of Kemmrers and the Ref won't give it... and then does and they go out. On restrt with Kemmerer on top Ref cautions Kemmerer again and point awarded to Biase. Kemmerer 4-2 2nd period Kemmerer start down, escapes, slaps cradle on Biase and Kemmerer gets the fall in 2:25 Upper Perk 37-15

140lbs Sr. Sam Walters (UP 8-4) vs. Sr. Matt Krom (E 6-4) 1st period Walters goes right after Krom and takes him right to his back and gets the fall in 0:37 Upper Perk 43-15

145lbs Jr. Dustin Kern (UP 8-4) vs. Sr. Braylin Williams (E 10-2) 1st period They comes out aggressive, Williams gets poked in the eye and they go out. battling for hand control, Williams ducks under for takedown. He lets Kern stand and escape. Kern tried to grab headlock but Williams slips under for a takedown and they go out. on restart williams throws Rogers roll on Kern for 2 backs and they roll out. Kern asks for injury time. On restart Kern stands, but Williams rolls him back down to his back for 2 more backs. and they go out. Time expires Williams 8-1 2nd period Williams chooses neuuutral to start. Kern gets a leg and Williams spins thru iit to get the takedown. and they go out,, again. on restart Williams has tightwaist and kerns sits and Williams let's him up. They lock and Williams ducks under and spins behind for 2, but he can't turn him and they roll out. Restart and Williams looks for the cross arm to roll, Kern sits again but Williams rolls him back and out. On restart Williams gets the armand rolls Kern for 3 more backs. and they go out. Restart and Kern goes flat as time expires. Williams 15-2 3rd period They start neutral, and Kern reaches for a leg, Willaims turns him and gets the takedown for the tech 17-2 in 4:27 Upper Perk 43-20

152lbs Hoyt Emmons (UP ?) vs. So. Colin Dailey (E 9-5) 1st period Dailey starts by grabbing wrist but can't make anything ot it...they lock up and struggle for hand control. Emmons gets behind Dailey and grabs one leg and fights for the other and gets the takedown as they fall out of bounds...Emmons uses a hammerlock to turn Dailry on restart but can't get the exxposure....Dailey gets the leg and is seconds from the reversal when the buzzer goes. Mr Powell goes to the table. the Ref is pointing into his chest and it stands. LaPish 2-0 2nd period Dailey stars down and reverses but gives up the same a momenbt later. Emmons trying to control hands underneath but Dailey stands and is brought back down but the ref calls locked hands. on restart Dailey sits around and gets Emmons leg and the reversal and gets 2 back points for the effort. Dailey 7-4 3rd period Start neutral , lapish is in on aleg, but Dailey grabs waist and holds on til Ref calls stalemate. restart and Dailey gets a leg and converts for the takedown, he getes legs in in the miffle of the mat and starts on the power half and turns Emmons for 3 backs which turns into a fall at 5:30 Upper Perk 43-26

160lbs Sr. Ryan LaPish (UP 3-5) vs. Fr. Joe Piro (E 6-7) 1st period LaPish goes out after Piro and gets the first takedown. He controls Piro without flare, doing nothing on top. LaPish 2-0 2nd period Start neutral LaPish aggressor, shoots and almost gets takedown and Piro counters, but Lapish gets the takedown, and turns him to his back, locks him up tight, Piro fights, but.....laPish sticks it at 3:19 Final Score: Upper Perk 49 - Easton 26
