Won a bronze medal at the 1975 Olympic Games in Montreal and a gold medal in the 1980 World Championships. A former collegiate coach, Dziedzic was named in 1977 as the winner of the SRU Outstanding Alumni Award and was the Amateur Wrestling News' "Man of the Year" in 1980.
