Seydl escapes to get a 3-0 lead, then Seydl takes down Crowell, then Crowell escapes to make it 5-1 to end the 2nd PD

3rd period

Crowell chooses down, and gets the 1 pt escape. Seydl was calling for stalling, and awarded 1 pt to Crowell to make the final bout score - Seydl 5-3

Weaver shoots from the whistle, seems to have the takeddoen but Rutt wiggles out at the edge. On restart Weaver shoots again but Rutt counters for a takedown. Rutt 2-0

2nd period

Weaver starts on bottom and reverses Rutt. Rutt escapes, they tie up Rutt spins and gets a dbl leg takedown just before the period ends. Rutt 5-2

3rd period

Rutt starts down and quickly escapes. Weaver throws a headlock but Rutt comes out teh back door for the takedown. they go out and restart from referees position. Weaver seems tired as Rutt rides hard. Rutt work an arm trying haed to turn Weaver. Rutt rides it out for 8-2 win.

1st period

Pizarro shoots the single for a takedown, tries to turn but then lets Mutch up. He then shoots a again for another takedown as the period ends. Pizarro 4-1

2nd period

Mutch takes down and and Pizarro lets him up, Pizarro shoots the single once more and gets the takedown and Mutch works for the escape at teh edge. As Pizarro shoots for a double a stall is called on Mutch as they go out. on restart Pizaro drives Mutch across the mat for a double leg take down as they go out. On restart Pizarro allows alt start and picks an ankle for another takedown. Pizarro 10-4

3rd period

Pizarro takes neutral start and gets a leg but can't take him down as they go out. on restart ref bangs Mutch for another stall, Pizarro gets the takedown and lets him up at the edge. Off the tie-up Pizarro shrugs to a single and takes him down and lets him up. On restart Pizarro right in on the single and Pizzaro 17-7

Flegler works to a mat takedown. and rides Veres hard.before Veres stands and escapes. Flegler 6-3

Flegler takes down and reverses Veres and as Flegler sowrks hard to turn Veres he gives up a reversal of his own as they go off the mat. On restart Veres rides well but cannot turn Flegler.

Gentzle gets the first takedown and lets Ritchie escape.and after a short injury timeout for Gentzle he comes out and takes him down again. Blood stoppage for Gentzle.On restart Ritchie escapes anda single by Gentzle fails. Gentzle 4-2

2nd period

Gebtzle defers to Ritchie who takes top, Gentzle escapes after working for 30 seconds, Blood time again for Gentzle.On restart Gentzle works a single and then lets Ritchie up. Gentzle again takes Ritchie down at teh edge and holds hiim for the remainder of the period Gentzle 9-3

3rd period

Gentzle takes neutral and takes Ritchie down on a single. More blood time. Gentzle tries to turn Ritchie but eventually lets him up and immediatly takes him down again. He lets him up and they tie up. Gentzle 13-5

1st period

Tie up and push off the whistle. Ciasulli shrugs to a headlock and gets behind for the takesdown. The legs go in and the ride is on. Greck is flat and doing nothing. Ciasulli spisns and work arms and then Greck reverses him before Ciasulli turns it back with a Peterson. Ciasulli 4-2

2nd period

Greck defers Cisulli takes down and reverses Greck immediatly. Ciasulli rides hard and tight spinning around trying different things and he locksup both of Grecks arms but can't turn him. Greck does nothing, but he realyl can't anyway. stalemate. restart andref calls Greck for the stall as the period ends. Ciasulli 6-2

3rd period

Greck chooses neutral Ciasulli misses a pick and Greck gets in deep on a single but Ciasullis sits on it til the stalemate is called. restart, tie up Ciasulli shoots and Greck backs up no call then Greck shoots the single again and Ciasulli sits but Greck gets the takedown anyway the ref then calls Greck for a stall????????? and the period ends Ciasulli 7-4

So. Tim Darling (22-1) vs. Sr. Josh Oliver (24-1)

1st period

Both wrestlers cautious, they tie up, stalemate, alot of dancing around, very cautious, tie up, Darling gets a leg and works it to a headlock and takes Oliver right to his back. Oliver spins over after giving up backs. Darling 5-0

2nd period

Darling takes down and Olicer lets him up fairly quickly. Darling gets in on the same leg again but Oliver sights with a wizzer until Darling works it into a takedown at the edge. and out. On restart Oliver stands but Darling takes him back down adn then to his back for 3 more back points. Darling is dominant as Oliver lays flat and the ref calls a stall on him. Darlingsrides the period out to an 11-0 lead.

3rd period

Oliver takes neutral and tries a series of picks from a three point position but gets nothing They tie up and go out, On restart Oliver gets a caution on a quick pick. no score. they tie and go out, on restart Caution to Darling for wuick shot. they go outand restart and Oliver tries a cement jon at the edge for nothing. Darling 11-0



Easton 20-16

So. Adam Counterman (8-2) vs. Sr. Alex Krom (21-1)

1st period

Krom takes Counterman down and works him to his back and works for over a minute to flattenhim but can't. Krom 5-0

2nd period

Counterman starts down, Krom works to turn him but lets him escape. Counterman gets a leg but Krom counters it into a takedown and gets 2 back points at the edge. Krom takes injury time on restart tries to turn him but Counterman stands anddrags him out of bounds . on restart ref calls stall on Counterman. Krom 9-1

3rd period

Krom start down, stands and Counterman holds on around the gut til they go out,. Krom stands again and near the edge Counterman gets another stall for a point. on restart Krom stands again and Counterman takes him back down. Counterman looses a shoe. Restart and Krom stands but they go out. restart dand KRom spins out but Counterman is still on the leg, Krom turn it for the reverse and with Countermasn flat on the mat he gets a stall and Krom rides it out. Krom 13-1

Andrew Goldstein Takedown, Escape Phil Santee, Goldstein gets another takedown (4-1 Goldstein End of 1st Pd).

2nd period

Santee chooses down to start the 2nd PD; Santee escapes to make it 4-2 Goldstein.
Goldstein takes down Santee again, to make it 6-2, and lets Santee up to make it 6-3 to end the 2nd PD.


3rd period

Goldstein chooses NEUTRAL to start the 3rd PD. Santee takes Goldstein down with 0:20 left in the 3rd PD to make it 6-5 Goldstein. Then Goldstein escapes to end the bout - 7-5 Andrew Goldstein -

Justin Counterman tries for a takedown on Braylin Williams but Williams takes him out of bounds. Off restart, Williams takes Counterman down. Williams 2-0. Williams lets Counterman up (2-1). Williams takes Counterman down again (4-1), and Counterman escapes to end the 1st PD. Williams 4-2

2nd period

Beginning the 2nd PD, Counterman chooses down, Williams lets him up (4-3). Williams takes Counterman down again, to make it 6-3. Counterman then escapes, to make it 6-4. Wiliams takes Counterman down, and Counterman escapes again. Williams gets another takedown, 10-5. Off the restart, Williams gets hit for stalling.

3rd period

Start of the 3rd PD, Williams chooses NEUTRAL. Williams gets another takedown, and lets Counterman up. Another Williams takedown, and an escape by Counterman to end the 3rd PD - Williams 14-7.

There was no scoring throughout the 1st PD

2nd period

Starting the 2nd PD - Frick chooses down, Frick then escapes to make it 1-0 Frick. There was no more scoring in the 2nd PD.

3rd period

Beginning of the 3rd PD , Crivellaro chooses down, and he escapes to tie the bout at 1-1. With 0:36 seconds left in the 3rd PD, Frick takes down Crivellaro to make it 3-1 Frick. Bout ends Frick 3-1.

Postgame comments

Unfortunatly I had to leave the match after the 135 bout due to a death in the family and could not post the final results. Dean stayed and wrote up the last four bouts that were posted Tuesday morning.
